There are two ways to kill molds. The first way is by simply keeping the bathroom dry, well-ventilated, and well-lighted. Keep the bathroom door open at all times and add an exhaust fan inside so that the humidity will be eliminated. You can also use an electric fan and point it to the direction of the bathroom to reduce humidity. Turn on the light of the bathroom often so that the mold will be killed by the light. These procedures are only effective for mild mold growth, though. If after doing this routine for several days and even weeks but the mold growth does not stop, the more serious method of killing mold should be performed.
There are several procedures that you need to follow in order to kill mold seriously. First, you need to gather all the materials you need to kill the mold. These materials include rubber bathroom gloves (the longer, the better), rubber boots, face mask, goggles, bathroom brush (exclusively for the dirty bathroom), a big bottle of muriatic acid, and strong detergent soap or bleach. The next step is to wear the gloves, goggle, face mask, and boots. Keep the bathroom brush and muriatic acid close and locate the concentration of mold growth. Afterwards, pour muriatic acid on the mold growth. Leave the bathroom for 30 minutes and allow the molds to soak in the acid.
After half an hour, rinse the acid and use the detergent or bleach to brush the area where the mold growth is concentrated. Brush it very thoroughly and make sure that there are no misses to completely kill the mold. Rinse the area again. These procedures should be performed several times a week, preferably everyday, to ensure that the mold growth is completely eradicated and the bathroom is restored to its natural cleanliness.
